As a certified personal trainer, I emphasize building muscle through progressive overload and intentional movement. With over a decade of experience teaching yoga, I also bring a deep understanding of body mechanics, mobility, and mind-body connection to every session.
Outside of work, I’m a bodybuilder and proud boy mom of two, so sports, hustle, and heart are part of our daily routine. I believe strength is more than physical—it’s a mindset: Strong looks different on everyone, but it always feels like confidence.

I began personal training at the YMCA in 2023. I attended Linfield University in Oregon and participated in the football program. While pursuing my degree, I focused on sports and training psychology. My specialties include injury prevention, recovery, flexibility, strength training, and weight loss.
I enjoy working with all ages, from the young athletes I coach part-time to the seniors focused on preserving their strength and mobility.
Training has to be both fun and challenging to stay motivated and reach your goal!

I grew up an athlete, so fitness has always been a central part of my life, and I love sharing that with others. With a background in strength training, functional movement, and nutrition, I work with clients of all fitness levels to build confidence, improve performance, and achieve lasting results. Whether your goal is weight loss, muscle gain, or simply feeling stronger and more energized, I'm here to guide and support you every step of the way!
I played collegiate volleyball, I love the outdoors, and I will never turn down coffee!

I relocated to LA from Denmark in 2020 and began my role at the YMCA of the Foothills in July 2021 as a personal trainer teaching BodyPump and Core. I have been a Physical Therapist since 1998 and a Personal Trainer for almost 30 years.
In personal training, my areas of specialty are functional strength training, rehabilitation training after injury or surgery, general fitness training, sports and performance training, cardiovascular training, balance and stability training, and individual, couples, and boot camp training.
My motto is “No Challenge—No Change,” and I believe training has to be both fun and challenging to stay motivated and reach your goal.
Outside of the Y, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend Liz and her two boys; however, the Y is my second home, and I love my job. Working with people and helping my clients on their fitness journeys brings me great satisfaction and is a privilege. I also enjoy running, hiking, and traveling.

My weight loss journey sparked a love for fitness and inspired me to become a personal trainer, helping others experience the same physical and mental benefits.
I enjoy working with clients of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced lifters aiming to enhance their training. I strive to create a supportive environment where members genuinely enjoy coming to the Y and view training as something they look forward to, not just another task to complete.

As a NASM-certified personal Trainer, I’ve had many years of experience teaching fitness classes, specifically for prenatal and postpartum mothers. My experience with specialized populations enables me to adapt any exercise for all fitness levels, health conditions, and injury histories.
After running a fitness program for moms in Crescenta Valley for many years, where I instructed bootcamp-style workouts aimed at mothers with young children, I pursued a personal training certification to help more people achieve their fitness goals.
My three kids keep me quite busy, but in my free time, I enjoy reading, trying new foods, and attending concerts and shows with my husband.
