We offer the highest quality water fitness, aerobics and exercise programs for all fitness levels. Exercising in the water provides a challenging workout in a near weightless and zero impact environment. Classes range from joint range of motion classes to high-intensity aerobic classes. Participate in our water fitness classes before leaning to swim. The class location is mainly in the shallow water.
Active Older Adult Aqua Fit
This intermediate shallow water exercise program has full body rhythmic exercises conducted in shallow water. These are designed to provide overall flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular benefits.
Advanced Aqua Fit
These advanced shallow water exercises strengthen, firm and sculpt muscles by using resistance of water and equipment.
AFYAP Plus (Twinges Plus)
These advanced beginner level shallow water exercises are designed for people with arthritis. (Includes balance exercises).
This is a total body workout, great for abdominals, endurance and muscle conditioning. It is also excellent condition training for lap swimmers.
This increases muscle strength, endurance, balance, and coordination and is great for kickboxing enthusiasts. The workout is set to music.
This intermediate/advanced class includes Zumba dance moves to create a challenging water workout with cardio-conditioning. The workout is set to high-energy music.
Basic AFYAP (Twinges in the Hinges)
This beginner level shallow water class includes exercises designed for people with arthritis. Gentle movements concentrating on range of motion and balance are done in the warm water teaching pool.
This advanced level water exercise program contains slow, medium and fast paced exercises. Flotation belts and devices are used, but participants need to be swimmers.
Hydro Core Cardio
This accelerated deep water exercise program includes cardio with a focus on core. Flotation belts and devices are used as well as interval training, but participants need to be swimmers.
Shallow Water Workout
This intermediate water exercise program includes full body rhythmic exercises in shallow water as well as balance activities.
This is a beginner level shallow water exercise for strengthening and includes balance exercises.
These advanced water exercises include shallow water exercises as well as flotation exercises in deep water.
Class activities include stretching for elongated muscles, range of motion, and balance.
This class features muscle conditioning as well as stretching. Exercises are performed in shallow water.
This entails walking in shallow water waist to chest deep. (No instructor.)
This high intensity aerobics class includes water boot camp, water kickboxing, jump training, strength building, stretching, flexibility, and balance.
This class features yoga poses adapted for the water in a continuum of flowing and static poses while breathing deeply. It's excellent for increasing flexibility and balance.
