SUMMER CAMP GLENDALE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
In June, the YMCA of the Foothills signed a landmark service agreement with the Glendale Unified School District to provide six weeks of enrichment summer camp serving up to 360 kids a week. This first-of-its-kind program between GUSD, the YMCA of the Foothills, and the Glendale Family YMCA will start on July 6th at three locations in our service area: Dunsmore Elementary, Valley View Elementary, and Abraham Lincoln Elementary. Additionally, the Glendale YMCA will program these three locations within their service areas: Balboa Elementary, R.D. White Elementary, and Columbus Elementary schools. This partnership once again demonstrates that when communities and organizations come together in service, the result is a positive change for all involved.
