More about Vince
Vince has been a professional YMCA Director since 2003 and has worked for the YMCA movement since 1996. Vince has worked in varying leadership roles for three different YMCA Associations — YMCA of the Foothills, YMCA of Santa Barbara, and YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles. In his last position as Executive Director of the Gardena-Carson Family YMCA for the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, Vince oversaw an 8% growth in Annual Campaign, a 10% increase in program participation and a 7% increase in membership.
Vince is also a proud veteran of the United States Army and alumni of the Glendale College Baseball Program. His roots run deep in the La Cañada/La Crescenta/Montrose/Tujunga area — as along with working for the YMCA of the Foothills form 2003-2011, he has coached baseball at St Francis High School, Glendale College and worked as a regional scout for the Texas Rangers of MLB covering all of the foothill area high schools/junior colleges.
As the Senior Programs Director for the YMCA of the Foothills (Crescenta-Canada and Verdugo Hills branches) Vince had the opportunity to build programs and services for the Tujunga, Sunland, Verdugo City and Sun Valley service areas where there was not a Y presence before. His highlights were the development of staff and volunteers to lead quality programs, the creation of the original VHY Y&G delegation, the growth of summer camp, and being named the 2009 California YMCA Advisor of the Year for his work developing and growing Model UN and Y&G for the YMCA of the Foothills.
Vince carries a Biology Degree from California State University at Northridge, is a graduate of the United States Army Advanced Infantry and Artillery School and holds three different YMCA of the USA Credentials as a Certified Organizational Leader, Certified YMCA of the USA Trainer and Graduate of the YMCA Executive Institute.
Vince, his lovey wife Kelly Villegas and 6-month-old daughter Grey Lynn Iuculano enjoy the outdoors, spending quality time with family and friends and travelling.
