Imagine.....all the people who are supported by your gifts.

At the heart of community life in the foothills, the mission-driven YMCA of the Foothills is a place to belong and to live the values that guide and unite our members: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Our YMCA provides a special opportunity for kids and adults to join life-changing and life-saving programs such as summer camp, child care, Y Winners, Youth & Government and water safety. We are proud to be able to meet the growing needs of our community through our financial assistance program offered to individuals and families who want and need YMCA programs but may not otherwise be able to afford them. Our goal is to raise $450,000 for children, families and adults throughout the foothills. Few things are more important than a healthy lifestyle, strong community, positive role models and quality time spent together as a family. The YMCA has a number of different ways you can make an impact on your community.

2010 Community Support Campaign
Imagine...All the people who are supported by your gifts.
As a non-profit organization, the YMCA relies upon gifts of others to provide children and families in need the opportunity to participate in YMCA programs. Each February over 150 volunteers call community members to raise gifts for program support and financial assistance. Programs that are supported by these gifts may include counseling and referrals for seniors, after school sports and art programs for middle school children, and financial support that is available for camp scholarships, membership and program assistance.

Endowments
Endowments are gift of any size that are designated funds that help to provide long term funding for a specific activity or program. Endowments funds are critical because it provides a consistent income flow to secure programs for generations to come and they protect principal amounts, even during economic fluctuations. Endowments gifts of $10,000 or greater may be named in honor of the donor or designated individual or group. We are happy to accept gifts of cash or stock, however we suggest you contact your legal or tax adviser to determine what best suits your needs.

Bequests
An estate gift is an excellent way to build the long-term strength of the YMCA and leave a lasting legacy. Remembering the YMCA in your will or living trust with a fixed amount gift, specific asset or percentage of your estate benefits not only the YMCA, but may bring you positive tax advantages. Once you have decided to make an estate gift to the YMCA, you will become a member of the Heritage Club.
